I figure, too, since there's been a lot of negative in my life, I'll just take the time to focus on the positives.
Sometimes we just need to reflect inwardly and make a few adjustments. That's my plan.
I'm also hoping to read more blogs that I follow and help critique some of Emily McKeon's stuff.
Hugs and chocolate, all!
Shelly
Do what's best for you, Shelly!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm gonna do. I've never done well in the Sea of Overwhelmed.
DeleteSounds like you need to keep low-keyed (if that's the correct term for it?). Focus on only a few things and simply put one foot in front of the other.
ReplyDeleteCompletely understandable, Shelly.
ReplyDeleteHey Shelly,
ReplyDeleteThe main thing truly is about your life priorities. You have to do what makes you feel comfortable. No undue pressure on your good self, okay?
Yes, distance yourself from the negatives and embrace those positives.
Hugs and hope,
Gary :)
Thanks, Gary.
DeleteThat's totally understandable. You have to do what's right for you and Sir Poops.
ReplyDeleteYes. Sometimes I just sit and hold and cuddle him.
DeleteGood luck. I hope things get calm and peaceful in your house.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. Yesterday, I was on edge. Daughter 2 lives in Southern Israel. Bombs were being drooped. The Iron Dome intercepted 8 over her neighborhood.
DeleteThere's nothing wrong with taking a break. Enjoy your time as much as you can.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Melissa.
DeleteI'm glad that you'll still be Celebrating the Small Things every Friday :) Keep on focusing on the positive...life can't throw you curve balls forever...hang in there!

Sorry that you have so much going on right now. I hope your daughter is doing okay. I know it's a frightening time there, but I'm sure she'll be safe. I'll be sending lots of good thoughts your way, Shelly.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Take care of yourself, Shelly. Sending many hugs and good thoughts your way.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Julie.
