Television: America Being Dumbed Down by Booty Patrol

"Hey, mom! Watch this!" Ewee, daughter number three said as she began to shake her butt, then her thighs. After about thirty seconds, she did what was called a drop and roll. She was about fifteen then.

My face went warm, and out of sheer embarrassment I shifted my gaze elsewhere. "Would you stop!"

"Oh mom! You're so gay."

She was also the child at around nine who announced at the dinner table, "When I grow up I want to be a poll a dancer."

This is the serious truth, folks. I thought I was going to choke on my food along with all the rest of her sisters.

Now remember, I was a single mom of five daughters.

Whether I knew it or not then, my house was definitely under attack.  And this spanned out from 1998 to 2008. My girls watched plenty of television and listened to a lot of music while I was busy working 7 days a week. Some things I knew about and other things I hadn't a clue. I was even sucked into this stuff just as much as they were and shook my booty plenty with them.

So is Booty Patrol here to keep us occupied from what is really happening in our country?

I mean the biggest booty I know of right now is Kim Kardashians. And back in November, that thang was talked about so much that I bet peeps didn't realize that month commemorated the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, and that Phil Hughes, the cricket player who was a left-handed batsman died. I bet y'll missed out on the European Spacecraft Rosetta landing on a comet all because of her gi-normous, greasy BOOTY.
And it isn't just her booty sticking out either. Jennifer Lopez has a pretty sleazy music vid all about her and someone else's booty.

So why are we seeing so much smut these days? Was there a meticulous long-term agenda to dumb down the population in America? Could be.

Back in 1933, the Humanist Manifesto outlined a game plan for you and me.  They've been busy creating a global humanist government while we've been busy checking out booties and God knows what else.

In 1963, the Honorable A.S, Herlong, Jr. of Florida in the House of Representatives outlined the goals of the Communist party. His remarks can be found in the Congressional record- Appendix pp A 34-35, January 10, 1963.

Paul McGuire, published a book in 2005, Are You Ready? In it he paraphrased some of these outstanding folks' plans. Here, I will share only one.

3. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and T.V.

So are we being distracted and dumbed-down?

What do y'll think?

Well, I think God help us, we're in BIG TROUBLE! Especially if we're finding booties euphoric.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Hugs and chocolate, all!

  2. According to my mother, this was going on since the 1920's. WWII just interrupted it for a time.

    1. Yup. I believe you're right. Progress has helped the immoral industry. It's gotten worse now that we're in 2015.

  3. Yep. We are being lead away from basic goodness. Many butts and buts have been tossed out, a quite effective distraction.

  4. Right now, I'm really sick of hearing about Bruce Jenner's "transition."

    2. Hope I didn't offend you with the dog pic. It was meant to drive a point home.

  7. I don't know why when I try to comment on blogs from Facebook links, they always come up as being made by Scarlett and James....

  8. Whenever I see or hear things about shallow things like these, I just go "Gosh, what's happening to the world?"

Like really, how did all these started?

  9. At our house, we've never watched a reality show or even any of the contest show. I hope we've raised our kids to think opinions expressed by actors, entertainers and anyone you see on TV, including politicians, is likely suspect. Being a parent is the toughest job, EVER.
