Celebrate the Small Things

Today, I'm so not celebrating the internet. Once again, I've got issues with my computer. Pop-ups are everywhere. Singing ones. Blinking ones. Flashing ones. So this evening I need to play around and figure out what is going on. My malware and blockers aren't working.

Anyway...

I do celebrate what writing I got in this week. Thirty and forty-five minute intervals everyday.

My daughter, No-No and her hubby, Ya'akov and his family are staying safe in Israel.

That the United Nations finally understood Israel's right to defend themselves.

And my three day stay-cation this past weekend with my grandson, Glowstick.

That's it for me.

This post was brought to you on behalf of VikLit, at Scribblings of an Inspiring Author.

Have a happy weekend and a happy Shabbats if you practice!

Hugs and chocolate!
Shelly

  1. It's annoying when that stuff happens. Hope you get it sorted soon. Pop-ups are bad LOL. Apart from that, great celebrations and any time you can sneak some writing in is always great. Enjoy your weekend!

  6. Hi Shelly,

Can you trace the source of the pop ups? I recently had the same issue and it wouldn't go away. Then, upon searching for the name of the offending ads on the search function of my computer, I found the sneaky little thing that had be added to my hard drive and deleted it. Ads have gone.

A balance. Thankfully your family are safe in Israel.

I have to scoot away. I'm frantic packing boxes before I move and become offline for a few days.

A peaceful, hopeful weekend to you and your loved ones.

  11. I feel your IT pain. My printer has been inserting horizontal lines across random pages this morning, for no apparent reason.

  13. All good things to be grateful for!
We have had messages on our "park" phone, trying to get us to add something like texting... We are not paying for this service and wouldn't want it anyway... I think it took several tries for my huband--who is not tech-friendly at any level--to get rid of the messages, and he figured out he had to go and re-do every setting! It's only going to get worse. I think I'll dig a hole if it does!

  14. Looks like it was good to spend time with your grandson. A cutie. Glad your family is safe in Israel. Writing consistently deserves that your internet shouldn't give you problems. Or maybe it just deserves chocolate :)
