Alrighty Then...

I thought I'd update everyone on my computer issues. This week has been the first good week in months with this thing. My printer is even on an even keel.

Thankfully, after a too long hiatus from Killer Stilettos, I've begun working on it again. The first chapter reads very different from the first draft to the thirty-third one. But I guess my absence had my brain crock-potting some surprises. So maybe having these massive issues meant something good for Killer Stilettos and my creativity.

Also, my nephew, Tyler Bradford, created a cover for a brand new project that will be released in 2015.

I've got to fix a few things, get a final edit, and send it off to the copy-right office before I release it.

Alrighty then ...

How's everyone else doing?

Hugs and chocolate, all!
Shelly

    1. Thank you, Norma. He's tweaking as I reply to this. A little more color in the background and making her eyes a little more intense.

  8. I hate computer issues! I do know I need to get a new one and I will in a couple of months and then use this one just for work from home job, I think but then again, maybe not. We'll see.

Time away does tend to let ideas percolate and half the time you're not even aware your creative brain has been rewriting, lol! Like the cover!

  9. Your nephew did well!

Sometimes a little break is all you need to get the creative juices flowing and to see things from a different angle.

  11. Brilliant cover, Shelly! GLad to hear all your do-dads are worrking, finally. Including the writing. I've been MIA because the room where I keep my com, puter was in the 30's! It became cold unexpectedly in here and no way were we going to try and get it warm enough for me to sit in here.
I tore a fingernail and so, a band aid on my first finger is working against my typing today! I've been off-line for 5 days! Trying to catch up some. Buyt I did get a bunch of things crocheted! Ha!
    Warm Chocolate Hugs!
